Inspired by the recent Mark Rober 'Porch Pirate' project, we tackle the seldom reported act of stealing home delivered packages...With the advent of 'Ring' and similar technology, the identification of thieves has become a reality, but the captured evidence does little to motivate some law enforcement agencies to act on the information. We tackle the perceived shaping of public opinion on handling incidents like these and almost forced mindset to do nothing due to numerous public messages of 'that's what insurance is for' or pointing out that 'vigilante justice' doesn't work....I'd be curious to get listeners thoughts on the topic... #Ring #NextDoor_app #Gauntletof bats #booby_trapped_package
